Keeping Traditions Alive

The Indigenous Cultural Education Center provides awareness and education opportunity to experience the cultures and spiritual practices of Indigenous People of the Americas and around the world. We provide an opportunity to know and celebrate our differences and similarities.

ICEC supports the efforts of Indigenous People, throughout the Americas to interact in the world community without losing their cultural identity, language, or spiritual practices.

We accomplish this through offering to the community at large, education and awareness programs as well as interactive workshops and events that provide an opportunity to experience of what these cultures have to offer and teach regarding social, emotional, physical and spiritual well being; a way of being passed down over thousands of years. These ways teach us that we are all related to each other and to the earth that we as human beings are responsible to and for one another and that we, the community of man, are responsible to and for mother earth that provides and supports all life.

ICEC strongly supports indigenous communities struggling to regain their cultural heritage, language, spiritual practices and a way of being that many cases, has been lost over generations of misunderstanding, mistrust, and indifference.
